Arts Access Miami was founded by Daniel Lewis and is led by The Miami Foundation and Young Musicians Unite in an effort to bring a thriving arts education ecosystem to every child in Miami-Dade.

MIAMI, FL (May 20, 2024) – Evolutionary Arts Life announced today that it has received a generous donation from Arts Access Miami at The Miami Foundation and Young Musicians Unite , as part of the fifth year of the Arts Access Music Alliances. The grants, which total $2,000,000, will be distributed over the next year and benefit 10 organizations across Miami-Dade County in an effort to bring a thriving arts education ecosystem to every child in Miami-Dade. Arts Access Miami has committed to a distribution of $20 million from 2020-2028, impacting over 50,000 students. “I am in pursuit of effective creative youth development through the arts be accessible and affordable for all youth’” said Daniel Lewis, philanthropist and founder of Arts Access Miami. “Given the wealth of academic and anecdotal evidence that exists, our strategies are focused on implementation; selecting, supporting and encouraging effective collaborating non-profit, philanthropic, education and government leaders, and gathering data that assists funding and operating decision making”.

The Evolutionary Arts Life Foundation was founded with the mission to provide a high-quality and accessible performing arts program in the South Florida region for students of all ages and backgrounds. Through years of dedication and hard work, the program has blossomed into an integral part of the community with over 150 students served per semester!

The mission of Arts Access Miami is to build music and arts education alliances. The goal is to identify and mobilize arts and music organizations for every child across whole communities, one feeder pattern at a time.
